KRISTEN ROOKER, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Kristen Rooker knew from a young age she wanted to work with animals when she grew up. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Bridgewater College (located in the Shenandoah Valley, which is where she fell in love with mountains), then went on to receive her DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. Many large mountains and the outdoor lifestyle drew her to Washington, and she is loving life on the West Coast! She enjoys all aspects of general practice. When not in the clinic, she is usually outdoors – hiking, doing volunteer trail maintenance with WA Trails Association, or skiing. She is also an avid reader and enjoys knitting and crocheting. She shares her house with Dodger the terrier mix.

Nicole Pupich, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Nicole Pupich is a firm believer in the Fear Free approach to providing care for your pets. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is developing a partnership with pets and their families to provide compassionate care for her patients.  She is continuously growing her knowledge through experience, continued education, and mentorship.

Dr. Pupich was raised in Douglas County, Nevada near Lake Tahoe. Her parents helped instill a love of the outdoors and its natural resources. She grew up with a menagerie of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. At the early age of 4 she expressed that she wanted to be a veterinarian and she has pursued this passion ever since.

When it came time to choose a college to attend, she chose Washington State University. It was here that she received her undergraduate degree in Wildlife Ecology and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. During her time in Pullman, Dr. Pupich grew to love the PNW. After graduation, she moved to Bend, Oregon where she practiced at a small animal veterinary hospital for 2.5 years.

Nicole and her partner, Jacob, recently moved to Port Ludlow with their corgi (Finn), 2 sphynx (Wade and Malcom), and an axolotl (Sir Lancelotl).
In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, skiing, paddleboarding, rock climbing, taking care of her many house plants, and a good book.
